For the first 6 months of 2017, over 2.5 thousand people had addressed NAPCA. It is 1.5 times more than in the first half of 2016. It was caused by increased public attention to the new industry law 230-FL. The peak of activity came to the first months of 2017, and in April the number of applications began to decline.
65% “hard” complaints are laid on companies, which are not included in NAPCA. Citizens often mistakenly complain about collectors, not realizing that it is, in fact, about the banks and MFCs. A lot of “heavy” complaints are about actions of illegal collectors or MFCs, that are not included in the relevant registers. So one of the reasons for a high proportion of hard-complaints is the illegal activity of MFC using the services of illegal collectors.
By that indicator Creditexpress is one of the most disciplined and fast-reacting companies (regarding working with applications of citizens) among the members of NAPCA.
It should be noted that the complaint itself is not the evidence of breaking the Law. However, if the appearance of the company in the list of leaders of hard-complaints happens regularly, it can be a sign of a lack of control over methods of collection from the company.
